Muraldo D.C. is an award winning Christian performing arts company, which mainly utilises traditional African and Caribbean dance genres along with Contemporary dance forms. We teach all ages providing a wide range of classes, workshops and courses along with performances and events’

MURALDO Design Central

MURALDO Design Central is one half of a mother and daughter team, makers of handcrafted goods known together as ‘Mother and Daughter Creates’, Caroline Muraldo is the founder of this first half of the duo along with being the Artistic /Managing Director of Muraldo DC the Dance Company. The second half is her daughter Shona Muraldo-Parks, whose work Individually know as ‘Beauty Queen Creations’.

MURALDO Dingolay Crew

Muraldo D.C. has it’s own mas band with themes, costumes and of course choreography all created by Muraldo D.C.

Lovers of ol’ mas. as found in the traditions of Trinidad carnival, our costumes and choreography are based folk characters and stories.

Premier Academy of Caribbean Dance

This academy is the first of its kind in this country and is dedicated to developing education, understanding and appreciation of Caribbean cultural arts forms with a specific emphasis in dance.

Performance

The company made its debut dance performance at the Black International Women’s day held at the Brixton Academy, London in March ‘97, with a dance piece specially choreographed for the occasion.  The piece ‘Aspects of Woman’ founded on Proverbs  31:10-31 which was described as ‘brilliant!’ by the event co-ordinator Tony Fairweather.
